 Return Policy

1) Products eligible for reimbursement

Med-Turn International Inc. (Formerly USF Processors Canada Inc / Return Technologies Inc.) only handles returns of expired products for sanofi-aventis Canada Inc. within 12 months after their expiry date. Returns can be sent without prior authorization, except for narcotics and controlled drugs. In such cases, request for authorization must be sent directly to Med-Turn International Inc.

All returns must be accompanied by a Med-Turn International Inc. return form consisting of the following information: name and address of the sender, a detailed list of products, the quantity (indicating the quantity included in partial units) as well as the reason for return. Once they are returned, these products become the property of sanofi-aventis Canada Inc. Products received by Med-Turn International Inc. which are not eligible for reimbursement will not be returned or replaced to the sender.

Merchandise cannot be taken by our representatives.

Returns can be shipped to the following address at the expense of Med-Turn International Inc. using their designated carrier. If the designated carrier is not used, the excess shipping charges will be deducted from the amount credited.

For any expired Copaxone, you must call our Customer Service Department at sanofi-aventis Pharma Inc. at 1 800 265-7927 to obtain an authorization to return and the value of the credit.

2) Products not eligible for reimbursement

  • Expired products returned more than 12 months after their expiry date.

  • Products that are not expired

  • Products damaged by water, fire or shoplifted (these should be covered by your own insurance plan).

  • Products not in their original packaging.

  • Products damaged by improper storage or exposure to temperatures outside our specifications (these should be covered by your own insurance plan).

3) Reimbursement conditions

For customers who buy directly (authorized wholesalers, distributors and hospitals), sanofi-aventis Canada Inc. and sanofi-aventis Pharma Inc. will issue a credit for all expired products directly to the customer's account according to the following conditions. All other customers will be reimbursed by cheque as soon as the combined value reaches the minimum of $25 for all companies.

Medical specialties and BTC products (other than narcotics and Controlled drugs.) Part bottles calculated to the nearest quarter bottle. For less than a quarter, a prorated quantity will be credited. 95% of current list price at the date of return.*
Narcotics and controlled drugs According to the exact quantity of tablets or milliliters that have been returned. 95% of current list price at the date of return.*

* For hospitals, reimbursement will be issued at 95% of the current contract price if applicable or current   list price at the date of return.

* Reimbursement for discontinued products will be based on the most recent published prices.
