Return Policy (RX Only)
It is the company's desire to maintain a just policy
regarding merchandise which the customer, for various reasons, may
wish to return for credit. However, it is necessary to define
certain reasonable restrictions.
General Return Conditions
Pfizer Canada Inc. product returns are to be shipped FRIEGHT
PREPAID to the wholesaler from which the goods were purchased or
to:

The customer and not Pfizer Canada Inc. have responsibility
to ensure that the returned goods are shipped in compliance with
applicable law. The customer retains title to the goods until
received by the wholesaler or MTI. An MTI Return Form must be
filled out completely and included with the return. MTI return
forms are available from MTI on their web site at www.returns.org.
In the event that goods are returned collect to MTI, this amount
(plus applicable taxes) will be deducted from the associated
credit transaction.
Only items eligible for return may be shipped for return
without prior authorization from Pfizer Canada Inc. All other
returns must receive prior authorization from Pfizer Canada Inc.
All other returns must receive prior authorization before goods
may be returned.
Pfizer Canada Inc. reserves the right to have destroyed any
returned goods deemed ineligible for credit or unfit for sale.
Returns which are ineligible for credit will not be returned
to the customer.
Sales representatives are not permitted to pick up or
transfer merchandise for credit or exchange.
Credit will be issued only if the amount to be credited
exceeds $25.00.
Items Eligible for Return
- Expired and shortdated products in original packages provided
they are within three (3) months of expiry and twelve (12) months
after expiry.
- A product that is recalled.
- Products having a manufacturing defect.
- All discontinued Pfizer Canada Inc. products will be eligible
for credit up to twelve (12) months beyond expiration date.
Part bottles/packages must be at least 1/4 full:
0 to 24% part bottle...... No credit
25 to 49% part bottle..... 25% of eligible amount
50 to 74% part bottle..... 50% of eligible amount
75 to 99% part bottle..... 75% of eligible amount
Credit Value
Wholesalers, Existing Direct Purchase Hospitals and
Retail Pharmacies
Returns will be credited at 100% of the unit selling price as of
January 1, the previous year, plus applicable taxes.
Retail Pharmacy Purchases via Wholesaler
Returns will be credited at 95% of the unit selling price as of
January 1, the previous year, plus applicable taxes.
Tender Products
Credit for products purchased on tender will be based on current
tender price unless accompanied by proof of original purchase to
support otherwise.
Items Not Eligible for Credit or Return
Products NOT expired (prior to 6 months limit).
Returned goods not in original packaging or goods which have
been repackaged, overlabelled, price stickered or reconstituted.
Products which have been damaged due to improper storage
conditions.
Goods which have been tampered with in any way, including
packages damaged by fire, water or an act of God.
Goods purchased on a non-returnable basis.
Products acquired as a result of a fire or bankruptcy sale.
Merchandise obtained via diverted or other means, including
products imported from outside of Canada.
Merchandize ordered in error but not reported within 5
working days nor returned within 10 days notification receipt by
CSC.

Dated products returned more than 12 months after
expiration.
Product Complaint
When goods are returned by a customer because of
manufacturing defect, the Retailer should immediately notify
Pfizer Canada Inc. C.S.C (1-514-426-7430 or 1-800-387-4947) of the
complaint and return the goods directly to Pfizer Inc.
