Return Policy
Expired Goods
Items Eligible for Return
Product is eligible for credit only when returned by a Lilly
authorized distributor (other dispensers must return to their point of
purchase) if
- Expired and received by Lilly's returns processor within 12 months
after expiry
- Returned in its original packaging
Product is not eligible for credit if
- Forteo, Humatrope or obtained through the Special Access Programme
- Products of good dating
- Product expired more than 12 months
- Products damaged by fire, smoke, heat or water resulting from a
fire or other hazards
- Damaged or incorrect shipments other than shipments from Lilly
- Products ordered in error by customer, Products marked
"Non-returnable", "Professional Sample", "Professional Package",
"Clinical Trial Package", or with similar markings or special labels
- Distress merchandise, such as items purchased from a bankruptcy
sale, going-out-of business sale, fire sale, or other merchandise
generally considered under the classification "Distress Merchandise"
- Products obtained other than through a Lilly Canada authorized
distributor or other means including imported products
- Opened or dispensed packages of Oncolytic and/or Cytotoxic
products, vials, cartridges or pens
Exceptions to the above include
- Damaged or incorrect shipments during shipment from Lilly only
- Product complaints and recalls
Note:
Product received by Med-Turn that is ineligible for credit will not be
returned to the sender or replaced.
Credit Value
- Return of expired retail products will be reimbursed at 95% of the
current list price or of the last list price if the product has been
discontinued
- Credit for opened packages will be credited as follows:

- Partial returns of outdated Oncolytic and/or Cytotoxic products,
vials, cartridges and pens are not eligible for credit
- Credit will only be issued if the amount credited exceeds $25
How to return
- Products for return are to be shipped to the dispenser's original
point of purchase
- Hospital customers should return product according to the Hospital
Returns Policy
- Eli Lilly Canada authorized distributors only:
- The customer is responsible for ensuring returned products are
shipped according to applicable law and that the products comply
with the return policy.
- Authorization to return expired Lilly products is not required
(except of Narcotics and Controlled Drugs). Narcotic and Controlled
Drug returns do require authorization from Med-Turn
International.
- Returns are to be sent FREIGHT PREPAID to Med-Turn International
at 2121 McCowan Road, Toronto, Ontario, M1S3Y6. If the product is
shipped collect to Med-Turn the shipping charges will be deducted
from the associated credit.
- Med-Turn Return Forms are available by contacting Med-Turn at
1-888-784-2323 from outside Toronto or 416-298-1234 from the Toronto
area or on the web at www.returns.org
Damaged or Incorrect Shipments
Claims for damaged or incorrect shipments from Lilly must be
reported to Lilly within 24 hours of receipt of the shipment.
Authorization to return damaged or incorrect shipments is required and
can be requested by contacting Eli Lilly Canada Customer Response
Centre at 1-888-545-5972. Customer errors are not eligible for credit.
Lilly retains the right to approve/disapprove requests for credit at
any time.
Product Complaints or Recalled Material
For product complaints or recalled material, do not return
product to Med-Turn. Please call Eli Lilly Canada Customer Response
Centre at 1-888-545-5972 for instructions.
Hospitals Return Policy
Expired Goods

Lilly hospital if
- Expired and received by Lilly's return processor within 12 months
after expiry
- Returned in its original unopened packaging
Product is not eligible for credit if
- Forteo, Humatrope or obtained through the Special Access Programme
- Products of good dating
- Product expired more than 12 months
- Products damaged by fire, smoke, heat or water resulting from a
fire or other hazards
- Damaged or incorrect shipments other than shipments from Lilly or
CPDN
- Products ordered in error by customer
- Products marked "Non-returnable", "Professional Sample",
