Boehringer Ingelheim (Canada) Ltd. Return Policy Only EXPIRED merchandise (narcotics and controlled drugs excluded) may be returned without prior authorization from BICL. All other returns must receive prior authorization from the Account Management Centre at 1-800-263-BICL (2425). Boehringer Ingelheim (Canada) Ltd. reserves the right to destroy any returned merchandise. Returns which are not eligble for credit will not be returned to the customer. Boehringer Ingelheim returns are to be shipped PREPAID to: Med-Turn International Inc. (MTI) 2121 McCowan Road Toronto,  Ontario M1S 3Y6 An MTI Return Form must be completed entirely and included with the return. MTI forms are available from MTI at 416-298-1234 or 1-888-RTI-2323 or simply register online at www.returns.org as a member and you can process your returns quickly and easily online. If goods are returned collect to MTI, this amount will be deducted from the associated credit issued. Merchandise Eligible For Credit Expired products in original packaging up to 2 years after the expiration date. Authorized discontinued products in original packaging up to 2 years after the discontinuation date. Value of Credit Direct Purchase (Retail or Wholesale): Returns will be credited at 100% of the unit selling price as July 1, 2002, plus current applicable tax. Special Price Purchase: Returns will be credited at the lowest current special price, plus current applicable tax. Part Bottles: Part bottles will be considered for return. Credit value will be assessed on a pro rata basis to the nearest 1/4 bottle, subject to the above criteria. Narcotics and controlled drugs will be credited based on the actual amount returned. Merchandise Not Eligible For Credit Products with good dating (not expired). Products which have been damaged due to improper storage conditions. Products involved in a fire, flood, bankruptcy or sacrifice sale. Products purchased on a non-returnable basis. Merchandise ordered/shipped in error but not reported within 5 working days nor returned within 10 days of notification of receipt. Dated Products returned more than 2 years after expiry or discontinuation. Product Complaint When product is returned by a customer because of a manufacturer defect, BICL should be notified immediately of the complaint and obtain authorization to return the product directly to BICL. Narcotics And Controlled Drugs The above eligibility procedures apply to return of narcotics; however, written authorization must be obtained from MTI for all narcotic returns, expired or otherwise. Narcotics returns are not permitted without prior written authorization from MTI. A copy of the authorization must be included with the returned goods.
