CLS Acquires USF Processors
WINSTON-SALEM, NC, February 28, 2005 - Earlier today Carolina
Logistics Services, Inc. (CLS), an Inmar company, announced
the acquisition of USF Processors, a USF Logistics, Inc.
business unit based in Dallas, TX.
Carolina Logistics Services, Inc. and USF Processors both
provide reverse logistics solutions and services to consumer
packaged goods retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers.
"This is an exceptional acquisition for CLS in many ways,"
stated Mark Doughton, President of CLS, "it will allow us to
provide an even higher level of service to our clients,
propels CLS into new markets and channels we have targeted
and we gain a significant position in the pharmaceutical
reverse distribution marketplace, a growth market in which we
are very focused."
Current clients of USF Processors will continue to receive
support from their Dallas customer support organization for
the foreseeable future. "USF Processors was an early leader
in our industry and we are excited about the opportunity to
gain valuable expertise and knowledge from their people and
scale from their infrastructure as we incorporate their
fourteen U.S. and Canadian facilities," added Doughton.
CLS, an Inmar operating company, is a leading full-service
provider of reverse logistics solutions and services in North
America. CLS clients include many of the world's largest food
& drug retailers and wholesalers, drug store chains and mass
merchandisers.
As a result, USF Processors Canada Inc. (RTI) became Med-Turn International Inc.
